This has been one of my favorite weddings! A garden wedding you guys. It was sunny but so freaking beautiful. Birds chirped during the ceremony. I fell in love with Erica’s wedding dress and was in awe with her the entire time. I spent most of my creative energy photographing the bride because I was second-shooting was able to focus on what I especially wanted (SO MUCH FREEDOM TO PLAY). The bride wore her mama’s wedding dress. Her mom’s mom wore the dress too! I love bride portraits, you gotta know that. These felt extra special because of the meaning of the dress.
If I could focus on only the bride the entire day every wedding, heck YES I will. I second shot beautiful wedding for my friend Jenny Collen and was able to focus on Erica. This was my highlight, even aside from the location.
The Garden Wedding first took place in the South Coast Botanic Garden Amphitheater where the ceremony was held. Then, we went to the desert garden to take some portraits. We headed to another venue for the reception.

You can’t go wrong with a wedding in a garden! I can’t think of a more peaceful place. Want me to photograph yours? I want to photograph yours!!
